1. Information we collect

• Account and profile information: information you provide when creating or maintaining an account, such as name or display name, date of birth/age, gender where provided, profile photos, bio, interests, and account identifiers.
• Contact and authentication information: email address, phone number, login or verification information where applicable.
• User-generated content: posts, photos, videos, comments, messages, livestream content, voice-room interactions, reports, and other content you choose to create or share.
• Audio, camera and media: microphone, camera, photos, and videos when you choose to use voice, video, livestream, profile, or media-sharing features and grant the required device permission.
• Location information: precise or approximate location when you enable location-based discovery features and grant permission. Location may be used to show nearby users or relevant experiences.
• Device and technical information: device type, operating system, app version, IP address, language, crash/diagnostic data, and security-related logs.
• Usage information: interactions with features, content, accounts, livestreams, voice rooms, matches, reports, blocks, and other activity necessary to operate and improve the service.
• Purchase information: information about digital purchases and transactions. Payment processing may be handled by app-store providers; we do not receive your full payment-card details from those providers.

2. How we use information

We use information to provide and personalize MyGuuX; create and secure accounts; enable social discovery, matching, Blind Date, messaging, voice rooms, livestreaming and location-based features; process digital entitlements; provide support; detect spam, fraud, abuse and policy violations; enforce our rules; investigate reports; improve performance and reliability; and comply with applicable legal obligations.

3. Sharing and disclosure

Information you intentionally make public, such as profile information or public posts, may be visible to other users. We may share information with service providers that help us operate hosting, communications, analytics, moderation, security, storage, and other app functions, subject to appropriate safeguards. We may also disclose information when required by law, to protect users or the service, investigate abuse, or respond to valid legal requests. We do not sell users' personal information for money.

4. Location and permissions

Features requiring camera, microphone, media library, notifications, or location use the corresponding device permissions. You can manage these permissions in your device settings. Disabling a permission may prevent the related feature from working. Where precise location is used, it is used only when permission has been granted and for features that require it.

5. Safety, moderation, reports and blocking

MyGuuX provides reporting and blocking tools. We may review reported content and relevant account activity to investigate violations, protect users, and enforce our community and child-safety standards. Accounts or content may be restricted or removed when they violate applicable rules or law.

6. Data retention and deletion

We retain information for as long as reasonably necessary to provide the service, maintain security, resolve disputes, enforce agreements, and satisfy legal requirements. Retention periods may vary by data type. Users may request account deletion through available in-app account controls or by contacting us. Some information may be retained where required for security, fraud prevention, legal compliance, or legitimate recordkeeping.

7. Data security

We use reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards designed to protect information. No online service can guarantee absolute security, so users should also protect their account credentials and report suspicious activity.

8. Adults and child safety

MyGuuX is intended for adults aged 18 and older. We do not intend the service for children. If we learn that an underage person has created an account, we may take steps to restrict or remove the account and associated information as appropriate. We prohibit child sexual abuse and exploitation and cooperate with applicable legal obligations and authorities.

9. International processing

Depending on the services used to operate MyGuuX, information may be processed or stored in countries other than the user's country. Where applicable, we use appropriate measures for such processing and transfers.

10. Your choices and rights

Depending on applicable law, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, or otherwise control certain personal information. You can also control many permissions through your device settings and use in-app controls for profile visibility, blocking, reporting, and account management where available.

11. Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy when our services, practices, or legal requirements change. The effective date at the top of this page will be updated when a revised policy is published.
